Translator updates

W287AQ tossed a license to cover to the FCC the other day, from a facility near West Blocton.  I was in the area over the Christmas holidays and heard nothing.

Up in Oneonta, W237DH is permitted to get a hike in power, up to 85 watts.  This will expand the coverage to include more of Cleveland, Nectar, Locust Fork and Highland Lake, but it is still a far cry from being a true county-wide replacement for WKLD, which left Blount County for the greener pastures of Huntsville.  (It's still not on the air yet, but was reported to be testing around Christmastime.)  The translator, on 95.3, relays the only radio station left in the county, AM WCRL.
